“Future success in the workplace can only be achieved with a healthy, qualified and motivated workforce!”

The New LEAF (Lifestyle, Empowerment, Attitude, Food) programme takes an holistic approach, focusing on the health and well-being of your workforce by looking at issues such as eating habits, physical activity, sleep, stress, and personal and professional values and goals.
The New LEAF programme will focus on enhancing people’s work and personal lives through enabling participants to move forward with a new-found approach valuing their personal well-being, ultimately leading them towards a healthier and happier lifestyle.
The programme will be delivered in an informal “round table” setting offering plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
The programme has been designed by a Nutritionist, Nurse, Physical Therapist, Counselling Psychologist, Guidance Counsellor and General Practitioner – by professionals, for professionals.

Benefits of a healthy workforce:

A positive and caring image for your company
Improved staff morale
Reduced staff turnover
Reduced absenteeism
Increased productivity
Reduced healthcare and insurance costs
Reduced risk of fines and litigation

Comments from Teachers in Kilkenny Education Centre:

‘It was a lovely interval between the stresses of school and summer holidays with the kids. It’s more practical than mindfulness, which I also enjoyed. It’s important to look after ourselves, as teachers, in order to avoid burnout.’
‘A very varied week which energises and focuses you as an individual as I was feeling weary, and perhaps unmotivated, at the end of the busy school year’
‘All tutors were excellent. It was great to hear all the expertise from people who know their topics very well and were very open to questions/discussions, etc. Lovely to have such a varied week too. I have taken something from each tutor that I will introduce into my lifestyle’
‘It was so nice to take a course to focus on the teacher’s health. It was also very refreshing to refocus the mind after a busy year’
‘Course was very professional and informative – glad it wasn’t another course given by teachers for teachers!’
‘It was refreshing to do a course focused more on my own self and my wellbeing to come away refreshed and re-motivated, and therefore better able to do my job’
