Aim: To develop your knowledge, understanding and practical skills in preparing for wine service and serving wines. You will learn how to set up and close down the bar area and how to promote and serve wines.
Participant Profile: Course is suitable for those who require a formal qualification and skills to work in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry.
Duration: 3 days or equivalent contact delivery days in a classroom setting. Learners will be required to complete work outside of class time.
At the end of the course the learner will:
- Be able to present and serve wines.
- Know how to open and close service areas and prepare equipment and stock for wine service.
- Know how to promote and offer advice on wines.
- Know how to present and serve wines to meet relevant legislation and customer needs.
