Course Information:

Aim:  To update members of a safety committee in relation to their roles and responsibilities with Health and safety in the workplace.

Participant Profile:  Safety Committee Members

Duration: 1 day in a classroom setting

Training can be tailored to suit your specific needs and requirements

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance valid for 2 years.

Content:

On completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • List the implications of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.
  • Identify hazards in the workplace.
  • Define the role and function of the Safety Committee.
  • State actions to be taken in order to communicate the health and safety message in the company.

Other Information:

Entry Requirement:    
A strong level of spoken and written English required.
Certification:
Each learner will receive a Barrow Training Certificate of attendance which is valid for 2 years.

All tutors are highly qualified professionals.
