Course Information:

Aim: The purpose of this training is to enhance the learners knowledge and awareness of child protection and to understand the reporting procedures.

Participant Profile: Course is suitable for those who work in a child centred environment.

Duration: 1 day in a classroom setting

 

Programme Outcomes

There are many learning outcomes some of which will enable the learners to:

  • Focus on the different types of child abuse
  • Identify early year’s professionals roles and responsibilities
  • Identify indicators of child abuse and safe practice in the early years setting
