Aim: Care Planning teaches employees the relevance of nursing documentation, the areas of accountability and the purpose of clinical records.
The training also addresses the factors for consideration when documenting Nursing Practice and the Best Practice Standards

Duration: 1 full day training in a classroom setting.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have an understanding of:
- Legal and professional requirements for developing person centred care plans in line with An Bord Altranais and HIQA
- Principles of care planning
- HIQA requirements for care planning (2007)
- Assessments and person centred care planning
- How to audit care plans
- Practical application and problem solving
Entry Requirement: Strong interest or working in providing quality care in a healthcare setting. A strong level of spoken and written English required.
